What we do
We created the Bawurra Library to provide schools and communities with tactile access to the knowledge we help preserve.
Bawurra Foundation partners with schools whose student population is predominantly Indigenous, however we also partner with public and private schools seeking to build their Indigenous education resources and support the Bawurra Library.
Bawurra Foundation works with Community and Elders to preserve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge and culture. Bawurra Foundation acknowledges that all information preserved through our actions is done so in accordance with Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property protocols.
