Wise to Exercise
It’s always wise to exercise! Not only is it wise, but it can also be very fun! Making sure we get the right amount of exercise is important because we all need to take care of our bodies to make sure that we are physically fit. Exercise feels good, and you will feel your body thanking you when you’re done, it may make your body stronger and more flexible, and also help you to stay sharp when you play some tough teamwork sports. Exercise makes our bodies stronger so that we can continue to stay healthy as we continue to grow. In the schoolyard, during lunch or recess there may be games such as handball, skipping rope or hopscotch which are all fun ways to exercise, don’t forget to ask your friends, or anyone you think may like to play along! You may even like to try some fun team-oriented sports such as netball, soccer or basketball. If you like maybe even tennis, or if you’re up for a real challenge, why not join the cross-country? Joining sports teams may even let you build closer friendships to classmates you may not have spoken to at school before. So next time you’re in the schoolyard at recess or lunch, why not ask some classmates to join in a friendly game of handball? Or maybe you could skip some rope!
