4 Tips For Better Sleep
You might have already read our article on why sleep is important for your brain and body. Here are 4 things you can do to help you get better sleep: 1. Turn off any screens or devices 1 hour before bed. The light coming from your screen interferes with the special signals your brain needs to send your body to sleep. So, your brain can get tricked by the light in your screen and may think it is still daytime. 2. Be active during the day. Running around, playing and sports help to make sure that our body is tired at night. 3. Go to bed at the same time every night. When we have a routine (doing something the same time each day), it helps our brain to prepare for sleep properly. 4. Be careful about how much caffeine (coke, pepsi, coffee, tea) and sugar you consume. If you are going to have drinks with caffeine or food with lots of sugar, it is best to have these treats in the morning, because the chemicals can interfere with what your body needs for a good sleep.
